Not for Henkel. Our extraordinary Car Crash Test demonstrated the full, innovative capability of our direct glasing professional adhesive in front of a live audience in Münster, Germany.

Over 70 guests from 21 countries (a mix of customers, representatives of public authorities, insurance companies and transport organisations), accepted our invitation to watch our car crash test LIVE.

During the event, guests were able to watch the windscreen replacement process. Henkel’s experts used TEROSON PU 8730 HMLC to bond the new windscreen into the vehicle. This extraordinary adhesive allows car repair shops to complete the installation in 10 minutes and ensures that the vehicle can be driven off safely after only 30 minutes more.

The windscreen is a vital component to the overall structure of the car body. It improves structural stiffness and provides protection for passengers. For many years the glazing aftermarket has applied a crash test standard commonly referred to as FMVSS 212/208.
