Full cure is accelerated by increasing the ambient temperature and humidity. Wetting with distilled water is also possible.

Overpainting is possible as soon as a skin has formed and is possible up to 3 days after application of the sealant. After that, an adhesion promoter should be sprayed on beforehand.

Sealant is applied only after the application of primers, fillers or, in rare cases, paint.

Because of their superior UV-resistance, MS polymers should be used on the exterior.

MS polymers can be spot-welded as long as they have not fully cured.
